Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

The neighborhood borders the property of the Barton 1792 distillery. The home itself has rickhouses right next door! This is your opportunity to stay in the area where the distillery workers have lived for decades...close to downtown and closer to the Bourbon Festival which is very safe and walkable from the property during good weather, and quiet enough to avoid the tourists if you like. As you enter Bardstown, and especially the neighborhood you will notice some buildings have a black “soot”…this is a byproduct of the distilleries and warehouses being so close- the evaporating bourbon “The Angel’s Share” feeds this phenomenon and only subsides with costly regular cleaning.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire home, backyard, and driveway parking. Laundry and weather shelter located in the basement.

A fantastic place to stay, wether doing something local or touring the bourbon distilleries in the surrounding countryside. Peaceful and relaxing, the fire pit is a bonus at night. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time with family and friends. Loved our stay!

This home was such a cute little place. It had everything we needed to enjoy a few days in Bourbon country. Marc and Amber were very responsive when we reached out to them. It is very well kept, decorated tastefully and clean.

This location was perfect for a weekend of bourbon tasting and touring everything the Bardstown area has to offer. Marc was responsive and the house was very clean with all the amenities you would need for a stay. The individual heating/cooling units in the upstairs bedrooms is a nice touch. I would not hesitate to book “The Angel’s Share” again for my next bourbon adventure.

There is a reason “The Angels Share” is rated 5 stars. It will be no different after our stay. The house is perfect for 4 guys looking to blaze the bourbon trail. We hit 8 distilleries in 3 days, you’re basically 10 minutes to an hour away from every distillery on the Bourbon Trail. Butting up against 1792 is awesome, the neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance to downtown Bardstown if you’re capable. Overall the space is great, very clean, as described. We used the fire pit, grill, and kitchen every night. You can tell the house was a true remodel and not just some older home with paint slapped all over it. It felt incredibly homie, and you can tell it’s been well kept by previous guests. There are lots of a nice little touches around it as well, Marc and his team know what they’re doing. 100% will be staying again if we ever get the chance, do not miss out on this gem.

“The Angel’s Share” was perfect. The location was very central to loads of distilleries, was easy to find, and was everything you see in the photos. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit with the lights! I would definitely book again next time I’m in the area.

Angels share was a great little spot for our stay. Centrally located to a bunch of distilleries. The outdoor space was great for the one night that it didn’t rain and all the amenities were perfect. Marc was responsive and extremely accommodating when checking in and out! I’d highly recommend this place for your next bourbon trip to Bardstown.

Marc's place was great. We like to put together regular trips to get our friend circle together in one place and this house was perfect for that. It's right near the center of Bardstown so we had quick access to all of the shops and restaurants downtown. The beds were all comfortable and the living space was easy for out group of 5 to all pile in. We happened to be in KY for a 4 day deluge so we couldn't use the backyard much, but there's a great fire area with tons of chairs and a firepit which looked really inviting. The kitchen was super clean and serviceable as far as travel stay kitchens are concerned. The fridge was full of frozen glasses and whiskey ice cubes which was much appreciated, and the welcome package was really thoughtful as well. If I had a single complaint, it would be that the live edge coffee table was, in general, a precarious place to set your drink, but undeniably was a great looking centerpiece for the living room. Thanks Marc!

The place is a great place in a desirable location. It has all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay including an outdoor fire pit and BBQ. It is very clean and the description and pics of the house are exactly as advertised. It does only have one downstairs bathroom, but it really wasn't a huge issue even with four of us staying in the house. I would definitely recommend the Angel's Share and would absolutely stay there again.

Great place to stay for a weekend of Bourbon hunting. Located close to several distilleries made the trip a little easier. Would think of staying there again on a future trip.

You couldn’t beat the price! Perfect location at the end of a quiet street and we loved it back up to some rickhouses as well. The house was clean, well decorated and had some very comfortable beds. We loved that the kitchen had all the necessary equipment to cook a meal too - just make sure to bring tuberware for left overs 😉. Overall the house allowed us to enjoy each others company and felt like you were at home.
